The short version

CaseCompass is free. Don't abuse it, don't use it to harm anyone, and treat the cases as study material, not a substitute for genuine consulting interview practice with humans. We are not responsible for your placement outcomes.

What you can do

  • Use CaseCompass for personal study, group practice, or class discussion.
  • Screenshot your profile, certificates, and badges and share them anywhere.
  • Refer the site to friends or your B-school consulting club.

What you can't do

  • Hammer the API with bots or automated scripts to scrape cases or transcripts.
  • Use the AI interviewer to generate content unrelated to case practice (we already block this, but don't try).
  • Resell access, white-label the product, or republish the case library without permission.
  • Impersonate other students on the leaderboard or in your profile.
  • Use CaseCompass to harass, threaten, or target other users.

The case content

The cases in CaseCompass are adapted from publicly available casebooks published by consulting clubs at top business schools. They are free to read in their original form and we present them here for educational use. If you are a copyright holder and believe a specific case should be removed, email us and we will remove it within 7 days.

The AI interviewer

The AI is a tool, not a person. It can be wrong, miss nuance, or (rarely) generate something that doesn't match the case it claims to be running. Treat the score as a directional signal, not a guaranteed outcome. We do not use your messages to train any model.

No warranties, no liability

The site is provided "as is." We're a tiny team shipping fast; we can't guarantee uptime, perfect availability, or that the AI will give a useful answer every time. We are not liable for any decision you make based on the practice, including placement outcomes.

Account termination

We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or abuse the platform. You can delete your account at any time by emailing the address in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We'll post a banner if we materially change these terms. Continued use of the site after a change counts as acceptance.
